Oakhaven Properties is a local company, with roots in the Langley community. It’s not uncommon to see our staff members out and about, socializing at the dog parks, volunteering at events, or even shoveling driveways for their neighbours. Our core values are about bettering people’s lives, improving and/or restoring our communities, and giving back wherever we can. These values are represented in each employee, in both their personal lives and the work they do.

All our projects are custom-tailored for each client’s needs and desires. We pride ourselves in our quality of workmanship, level of professionalism, and exceptional customer service. As a result, for over a decade, most of our work through word of mouth from previous clients, or clients returning to us for additional work.

The Oakhaven Story

Fresh out of the Kwantlen Polytechnic Carpentry program, our founder, Cody Baines, set out to make a mark on the construction industry and established Building Brothers Contracting. With several years of experience in the field under his belt, he was quick to build close relationships with developers, clients, and tradespeople. Starting by taking on primarily residential siding-focused projects, Cody worked hard to expand his knowledge and expertise to complement his growing business.

After over a decade in the industry, he decided to retire the Building Brothers brand and immortalize his best friend - his dog, Oakley. Today, Oakhaven Properties offers a multitude of both residential and commercial services, focusing on project management and design, renovations, and full-service custom home construction. With projects all over the Lower Mainland, our team of experienced in-house professionals ensure we run as smoothly as possible. Along with our solid network of sub-trades, we’re able to offer one-stop-shop service for every client.
